Tattoo Laws Alaska

Tattoo artists in Alaska are prohibited from practicing tattooing or permanent cosmetic coloring on a minor.

There is no exception for minors who have parental consent. This means that if you are a kid in Alaska and you want a tattoo, you cannot get one under the current law.

Tattoos for adults in Alaska are allowed in accordance with general accepted procedures and regulations.
